THE AQUA-RIUM
Thursday, January 26, 2006

went to the vancouver aquarium on tuesday with kristin. i last went about four years ago when my friend from halifax was visiting. it was cool, there were dolphins and harbour seals, a sea lion, big fat belugas and glowing pink jellyfish and all kinds of cool and weird sea life...

here's a video of a pygmy marmoset, the world's smallest monkey...to the tune of sven libaek's 'the life AQUA-tic dance'...

the rest of my photos follow...

INDRAVIR!!!

indy in yangshou, china...i keep getting these photos from him that could have been taken anywhere...not really travel photos...it could be yangshou or surrey...nobody knows...

i've stepped down from my job as bar leader and spent today training my replacement. it was way too much work and stress for something that i know i won't be doing for the rest of my life. i don't need it. and if i'm leaving this country soon, i don't want to spend my last couple of months here worrying about whether or not we have enough vodka to last us the next ten days or not...

my roommate has got to be the laziest person alive. he's only had to work six days this month, so far and has spent the other 17 days sitting on the couch watching tv, eating pizza and boxed pasta...from the moment he gets up until the moment he falls asleep...it's ridiculous, i wouldn't really care except for the fact that our apartment is so small that i can't escape the thing, as soon as it's on, i can't do anything but watch or hear the tv...it's sucking the life out of me...i can't get anything done...

and that's all...

has anything ever happened to you that just blows your mind?...like you keep pinching yourself to see if you're dreaming...

i'm spending everyday wondering when i'm going to finally wake up...

i can't say anymore right now...
